On September 18, 2024, we installed the first Via Danubiana marker in the commune of Găujani, Giurgiu County.
Together with journalists, members of the Giurgiu Civic Initiative Group, and local residents, we followed the Vedea–Malu route by water, discovered two wild beaches with fine sand, and visited the Community Cultural Center in Găujani, which now also hosts the trail’s first informational panel.
